I got Mirena after my first child. In the past year, I have had it replaced twice.. The second time, it actually started to grow into my cervix. I have a third and am going to get removed because of the same symptoms. I urge women to be careful with this. It is very painful getting it removed and I am on #3 to be removed.. I am done. I cannot take other forms of birth control so this was my last choice. If it works for you Great! But I am proof that it might not be as simple as your physician says it is. Tweet
