i use rice milk. it comes in a box on the grocery shelf. (not fridge section). so you can keep it in the pantry till you open it. i haven't try grinding my own. (should try that soon).
after i read about genetic engineering, i am afraid to use soy at all.
a crock pot helps when you are working a lot.
i just sent a long message to another person on how to keep from starving while you figure out how to become a vegan. (it might help you also). i have no scientific information, just what i managed to figure out when i had no time to even read cook books. (now i have a little more time...can't wait to start being creative!)
don't give up! it's worth it.
