Hi, When I switched over to a vegetarian diet 5 years ago, I did nothing but soy. Unfortunately I developed an intolerance to any soy product and then had to find something else. I tried Seitan (wheat gluten) and the protein was high and calories low, plus it resembles chicken. But my all time favorite meat substitue........falafels and hummus! I love them! My favorite brand is "Casbah". Try anything greek or mediterranean. They really know their stuff.
