think the influence Atkins has had is pretty phenomenal. True, I lost 20 pounds on the diet, but gained 30 when I stopped. That protien stuff is a myth. I have been trying to do more raw eating and fasting in order to lose weight and be healthy. Once I was a fruitarian and I was really skinny, and no lack of energy.
The influence has been phenomenal, and even if it was guaranteed to work, I couldn't do it. I don't like meat, among many other reasons, (being an animal lover etc.) Many try to push the whole meat thing on me to lose weight and It is not me. I don't think I can be a fruititarian. I do love fruit, but I need a little something more too. I think I will focus on nuts, whole grains, fruits and veggies, I know there is much debate about soy, but some added soy to my diet. I need to get the dairy out for good!!
