Actually a close reading of Bragg, and especially Fuhrman, Goldhamer, etc. recommend as much rest as possible while fasting. Braggs experiment in Death Valley and the challenge with the college students had more to do with salt intake than fasting.
If you are fasting for healing, rejuvenation, resting allows the energy to be directed toward those goals that was used to process food. I certainly wouldn't want to use my vital energy to exercise while in ketosis encouraging the sacrifice of muscle.
