I'm wondering if anyone out there could be so kind as to tell me what a good amount of daily protein might be, and what's the best way to get it while eating basically vegetarian? I still eat fish and occasionally even free-range chicken, but am trying to keep meals with these foods down to just once a week at most. However, being new to this I really haven't a clue as to how to get my proteins without ingesting fish and chicken (and lentils). I've always been told that we need a lot of protein and am sort of worried about cutting down too far---but on the other hand, all these vegetables are really filling!
