So, imagine that you're a kid -- young, eager, easily influenced, and literal to a fault. Then imagine reading that, and realizing that being vegetarian is the way to be.

And then take a peek at the story of Cain and Abel. Why was God displeased with Cain's sacrifice, but pleased with Abel's, given that plants were supposed to be our food? Why was Abel sacrificing animals, anyway?
