I'm not using any oil at all any more, though did the first two days (hemp & flax). But not any more. But it hasn't been 4 days without oil, so maybe that is it.
I know my metabolism is somewhat compromised by having low T3 hormone, but I wouldn't say it's *really* low. Or I'd have gained a lot more than 5 lb's a year I think.
Let me clarify, I *do* get hungry, wake up starving (as usual), just that the juice satisfies me which surprised me because a lot of people are saying how hungry they are the first few days, but this cranberry/citrus/water blend with the nutmeg/cinnamon/ginger stops the hunger like a real meal. Which is a good thing...
I'm just hoping I don't get slam-dunked when the detox really kicks in. I'm dealing with low back and menstrual pain now and not very well without my usual ibuprofen. Already packed my acupressure points book too. And can't use castor oil packs during TOM. :( Anything you can suggest for pain? I've been using Lakota topical gel which heats up a lot but it's not helping much...
