Re: Anal Itching-Cured!

Hi,

I've been through something similar myself, and I was at the point of going mad. So I took the matters into my hands. The type of doctor you should see is a rectal surgeon, not a dermatologist, not a general practitioner. They will most probably prescribe you cortisone creams to relieve the itching.
There several reasons why you're experiencing this:
1-Cleaning one's self too harshly, using hard toilet papers etc.. These areas have a specific PH balance that differ from other areas of your body. Disturbing this balance will result in itching.
2-Yeast overgrowth
3-Parasytic organisms

The most important thing is not to itch, because itching can give way to bacterial infections that will worsen and spread the condition. So KEEP AWAY FROM ITCHING.
Secondly which I think was the simplest and ultimate cure personally, to clean yourself use soft tissues (Kleenex), wet them with warm water and apply it to the area (with a padding motion, be gentle)
Do not apply any cortisone creams (anything that contains chemicals)Cortisone creams contain streoids that will harm your skin over a period of time.
You have to have self-control and a lot of patience. Because the healing process can take few months. I hope this helps,

Good Luck,
