Thank you both for your responses. I wasn't panicking but I was certainly close to it.

I'm much better than I was though I'm still not out of the woods yet. In reality, I think my digestive system had shut down completely over the 40 days. It's going to take a while to get back to 'normal'.

I had abdominal surgery 27 years ago and have a scar down the middle of my stomach. It's nearly 3 decades now and it's become insignificant - until now. Some really wierd things have been going on recently with that. But anyway, thank you for your responses. I truly appreciate it and have been following your advice.
