Thanks Cynthia.
"That's the person you should give the money to if anyone."
I know. I wanted to but because of all the time changes, I didn't get a chance to go to the bank and forgot about it. Now I feel bad that I Didn't give this lady money.
"It was totally rude of Lady #1 to ask Lady #2 for the funds."
Yes. It was beyond rude. Especialy knowing that night was the first time I'd actually meet Lady #2. I really feel bad that she paid. I want to at least apoligize for it. I think when it happened I was just stunned and was confused and didn't know what to say.
" That should have been settled between the two of you BEFORE she ever left to go to the location to pick up the item."
Kind of ironic that I thought it was "settled" when she FIRST brought gas moeny up and specifically said she wasn't expecting it and not to worry about it.
"I have a midsized SUV andwhen empty it would take almost $50.00 to fill the tank. A larger SUV obviously will take more. Since there were other people she was picking things up for, if anything, the cost should have been split...to be fair. Again, this should have been settled beforehand. If you can't find a way to do this then next time I would do without."
Yeah, I call BS on the price for a half a tank. I'd love to ask lady #2 what kind of SUV she even had.
"There's no reason to be intimidated by in person situations. Just think before you speak and say what you mean and all will be well."
Not that easy for me. My brain has never worked right during in person situations. The words just aren't there.
