Re: When people disregard what you tell them
My friend,
I must state that this is the most remarkable and inspiring thread I have read in some time. The matters discussed are surely relevant to us all, and I believe that we all have been scarred by observing our family, friends and this beautiful race of fallen humans poison themselves and choose death over life with every thought and action.
I read the Essene Gospel of Peace some months ago and although I do not subscribe to the "Jesus" myth, the teachings of the Master labelled as being Him are truly inspiring. (After all, it is the message that is of interest and not the character who tells the story.) The Master approached those in need, those desperately lost in their own ills and woes, and offered a path to salvation (healing) via hope, prayer (meditation) and knowledge of the Earthly Mother's (Nature's) laws. Thus, I believe that if you seek to aid all and sundry, then those who genuinely seek health will be revealed to you. I toil each day with depressive thoughts which occur due to the state of the world I am forced to endure. However, we must take it upon ourselves to implement change, regardless of our own despondency or anger at the "New World Order," and begin helping those who desire healing. Those who wish to learn will listen, those who do not will not, and there is little we can do except continue our selfless paths and hope that others will allow us to affect them in many positive ways.
The vast majority are alive but dreaming, believing falsehoods to be truth and deceit to be earnest. I recall a quote from the movie The Matrix, which made me ponder for quite some time, and still does in fact. Although I cannot recall the exact wording, the sentiment was similar to: Those who are within the Matrix are the Matrix. Perhaps an overly-cynical individual would label them as the "enemy" yet they have the very same potential as we do and only need to awaken to an alarming and disturbing reality to be set free from it. Awareness is all, and although it may pain us to be mocked as conspiracy theorists or paranoid fools with eating disorders (ha!), there will come a time, and soon, when we are the rule and all others are folly.
