My heart goes out to you . You have received such wonderful answers on here; I'm impressed.
I think you must look at it as your cross to bear in this life: basically keep your distance from them, be cordial to them , keep any time with them very short. I am so saddened that I have a similar relationship with my older daughter; I cannot understand her, we disagree on almost everything, I know she has many emotional issues that cannot be "cured," she has insulted me relentlessly while still asking for my support financially and verbally all her life, "can you do we a favor" is the beginning of many of her phone calls then she slams me when I am doing those favors (or during and afterward). So we have sort of mutually agreed silently to
not spend hardly any time together. I have no problem with my other daughter who cannot stand her own sister. It's a sad thing, it's life-long and it disturbs my sleep. Just try and deal with it as best as you can.
