Re: Cleansing and (in)fertility
Laura,
Thanks for the link; I try to find as much as possible on castor oil packs. My herbalist does recommend them, and I have done them (try to find organic castor oil). It is a little messy and inconvenient, but relaxing and does seem to soften up the pelvic area. Since doing the bowel cleansing, liver flushes, herbal support (vitex, black cohosh, dong qui, siberian ginseng, dandelion in a tincture formula), castor oil packs with mostly wholefoods/veg diet, I've felt so much better. And this is after a year and a half of surgery, and three recurrences plus
Antibiotics (Flagyl, mostly -awful stuff). Also I'd like to let any women out there with painful periods know that after taking IF # 2 for about a little over a month I've had two absolutely pain free periods. It's something to do with the clay. Have a look at
http://biorganic.ifrance.com/biorganic/clay.htm?
where it says that taking clay helps period pain.
About your (supposed) early menopause, I imagine that once you balance your hormones through cleansing and diet, you'll find that you're not menopausal after all. I recommend a book by Dr. Marilyn Glenville, 'The Natural Health Handbook for Women' . She discusses ovarian cysts among other things. But there are also some good web sites out there on alternative treatments.
Best,
Liza
p.s. anyone have any experience with clay packs?
