Re: Question about ratio of omega 3/omega 6/saturated fats

There are plenty of different opinions regarding efa's ratio and they range from 1:2 to 5:1 more or less. It's more important to have the right ratio of these than the actual doses - 4:1 ratio of omega 6 to omega 3 has been researched and proven to be effective. Bodybio makes a combination of sunflower and flax oils with this ratio. I tested this ratio and seems to work well for me so I currently mix 1 tablespoon of sunflower seed oil to 1 teaspoon of flax seed.
If you have digestion problems you may want to look at making sure you produce enough stomach acid; if not you may have to supplement with betain HCl or take some apple cider vinegar and/or lemon with meals. Protein needs stomach acid to be digested. You want to make sure that your liver and gallbladder arent clogged and produce enouh bile to help with the lipids aabsorption. Also if you may want to add digestive enzymes to help with breakdown of your food and toxins.
