I'm not real familiar with the Candida diet, but I've read a little about it. I'm not real sure you can follow this protocol because of that. I think there may be elements of this protocal that might not be OK with Candia. The Omega 3 is always a good idea to add to your program. We do not get anywhere near the amount that we need with a "current diet". I believe from what I have read in the NT book that it should be equal portions.
O3 - Ozone to O6. Unfortunately we get way too much of the O6 which is not real healthy!
As to the saturated fat, that is where I'm not sure how it might effect the Candida. It is very vital to your over all health, I believe, however, if there are circumstrances where you need to withdraw for awhile, then maybe that could be so. If I understand Candida does not allow effective digestion of fats? If I am incorrect about that, please let me know. But saturated fats are not the "evil" that they have been made out to be. I'm sorry I can not give you more effective information on this issue. You might want to test yourself with the elimination approach. In other words, try some saturated fat and if it doesn't work, then back off. I do believe that a natural traditional diet is effective, however, most of us have not done that in the past and therfore have created not so good body processes and therefore, not all the past traditions will work until we get our bodies in order.
Hope this helps.
