Re: Breatharianism, food, disease
Hi Tiger!
Thanks for responding to my question. With a question like that I open up to hear everyone's opinion, knowing they will all be different, and offer me something of value. This is what I learned (again) from reading your posts.
They say it is not polite conversation to discuss diet, money or religion, because it tends to trigger people's repressed 'negative' feelings to the point of outward reaction. If we feel irritated or annoyed by the idea of breatharianism or anything else, then there is a personal reason for that, otherwise we would have no specific attachment, no attraction, no reason to participate in the triggering event. We are motivated by feelings to act.
In my opinion, the motivation is the subconscious sending a feeling to the conscious mind while trying to guide us in the best direction to take (what to believe consciously) based on its vast knowledge and experience, which includes our own past and future lives, and those of all people who share deeper aspects of our subconscious mind.
Embracing these unexpected (out of control) feelings instead of resisting them will facilitate our growth in health, abundance and spirit, if we choose those for ourselves. Resisting the feelings by using the conscious mind's fear based tools of doubt and judgement (to avoid 'feeling out of control') will prevent us from gaining the benefit of subconscious guidance toward health, abundance and spiritual growth.
The physical body is a significant but small part of who we are, but for some it is all they know or are willing to admit - so they focus there. That is why this forum is mostly about very advanced and effective healing, the kind that removes obstacles to the natural flowing of the lifeforce - the physical healing subjects discussed here provide grounding and attachment to us for Andreas' greater work as a whole person healer. Other forums, even here on curezone, focus more on the disease as an entity through arguing the effectiveness of their particular "cleanse" without regard to whole person picture. Acknowledging the whole person would not be as pleasurable for them, and whole person healing is not a chosen goal for them - yet.
Andreas offers a complete system of healing and whole person integration which includes the emotional, mental spiritual aspects as well as the body. So occasionally questions more about spirit come up in context of it as the animating force of the body.
I believe that breatharianism is the ultimate physical worship of spirit because it is complete surrender to spirit of all physical needs, including food. Focusing on spirit as the source of all bodily needs IS the fulfillment of all those needs in abundance and in perfect quality. The quality of our sustainance is a frequent topic here and a central theme in Andreas' approach to healing. Relying on spirit for physical sustainance can also open the door to spirit providing other non physical benefits too.
With Love and a small bit of tongue wagging :p
