I personally have done the epsoms with water and with organic apple juice and I had much better results with the organic apple juice. With my water and epsoms, I passed 150 stones, and my last flush with organic apple juice produced 575 stones. My 2 cents is that it doesn't really matter. So, you might as well go the route of better tastes :) Just my opinion.
