Re: Att:Agnes, Jasmine & other old experienced members
Hi Kan
Thank you for sharing this with us, it is very interesting. I will do my best to help, but please understand that I am not a doctor and can only relate to you my own experience.
I too have experienced the type of pain you describe and I too have been told that my liver is of normal size, shape and is functioning normally. I would question though whether the diagnostic techniques would pick up intrahepatic cholesterol stones. Those that are small and non-calcified would not be picked up by ultrasound or X ray and may not cause enough inflammation to be detected. They may however interfere with normal bile production and flow and cause intermittent inflammation and pain as they mover through the ducts causing temporary obstructions as they go. (Take a look at the pictures on this site)
The same is true of stone detection in the gall bladder itself i.e. non-calcified stones will not show up on ultrasound and it is possible for the gallbladder to be full of cholesterol stones that do not show up when these diagnostic methods are applied.
My opinion is that you are very likely experiencing pain and discomfort for the liver and gallbladder and that a sensible cleansing regime coupled with liver support would be a course of action you might consider.
The bloating may well be happening simply because you are unable to digest your food properly due to insufficient bile flow. Partially digested fats in the system are likely to cause some symptoms one of which could well be bloating.
I have not head of the fig in milk method, but I would be concerned whether the milk is beneficial as many doctors in the UK firmly believe (and have research to support it) that diary consumption is a major factor in the formation of gallstones.
Radish juice I have head of but do not have personal experience of.
Olive oil and lemon taken in small quantities each day on an empty stomach can be useful as a mild cleanse.
I have myself got a stone stuck (I believe) following a cleanse and I managed to move it by taking a teaspoon on
Epsom Salts daily. Generally though taking the
Epsom Salts with the cleanse prevents this from happening. I was very worried the first time I did the cleanse, but I thought ‘better this than the knife’ and it turned out to be a surprisingly okay experience.
My advice to you would be to read through the site thoroughly, it answers just about any question you will be able to think of. It might also be a good ideal to consider doing a
parasite cleanse as
parasites can cause all sorts of digestive problems (certainly bloating and wind) as well as interfering with cleansing. I know it can be difficult excepting that you may have parasites, but lets face it, all other mammals do carry these pests, there is no reason to believe that humans would be different. A
parasite cleanse is not difficult or unpleasant and may people feel much better for doing this. Again, all the information you would need can be found on these sites of one of the links it provides.
As I said, I am not a doctor and besides, you are in your body, so do the reading, have a good think and then do what feels best for you.
Best of Luck
Jasmine
