How I do my cleanse...
Hi,
I've been using the Dr. Clark cleanse, which is an overnighter.
During the day (Fridays for me, since I don't work Saturdays), while at work, I eat fat-free. (This means lots of fruits and veggies and rice cakes and salsa and other fat-free foods [etc. -- natural colas have no fat!].)
After 2:00 PM, I cease eating any food.
At 6:00 PM (I work ten-hour days), I drink the first cup of
Epsom Salt water.
At 8:00 PM, I drink the second one.
At 9:00 PM or so, I head home.
At 10:00 PM, I drink the oil, lay down, and go to sleep (well, not immediately...).
The following morning, a day when I don't work (Saturday), I recover (which means finishing up the
Epsom Salts and dealing with the diarrhea).
It doesn't require much effort at all to do the liver cleanse. It does require a bit of organization and a day you don't work, but that's it.
My wife and I run interference for each other during the (liver) cleanse; we don't both cleanse at the same time. Even so, it would not be all that hard for me to take care of the kids during this time. The diarrhea isn't crampy or painful, it's just very... liquid....
So... don't let "busy" stop you.
