A little known characteristic of Candida is that you can get skin rashes that seem somewhat like Poison Ivy. This can also be a lot like athletes foot, especially is the foot is damp for a couple of hours.

Zapping will make this go away. CS helps too.

As for dead birds, I would not touch but report immediately to the local health care officials.
