I started making a broth from chicken, right after i cook the whole chicken.
What i do is, after you cook whole chicken, take most of meat of chicken carcass put back in the same pot you cooked it in, (without cleaning cooking vessel out), because the roaster still has alot of goodness stuck to bottom and sides.
Add about 6-8 cups water, some crushed garlic and other spices, i break up peppercorns and put some in.
Bring to a boil, then simmer hour or so, then put in container either in fridge or freezer, the fat will rise to top and you can dicard fat, then you have a really flavouful broth.
You can drink this broth as well, it is so good.
