A colema board is not the same as a home colon irrigation system. A colema is more effective than an enema...but not as effective as a colonic...which has an unlimited water supply. With a closed-system colonic...a speculum is inserted and this provides a very different mechanism of releasing waste material than the rectal tube that is used during a colema or open-system colonic.
