Dining Options - it's your call

Newton,
back to the Equal thing... definitely don't use artificial sweeteners. Equal, Nutrasweet, and really not Splenda either.
Those things are concentrated cancer causers. Actually they are called excitotoxins. One property is that under heat they turn into formaldahyde, wood alcohol, etc. A bazillion diet Cokes shipped off to the troops in the Gulf War, sitting around in desert heat, is the primary factor of "Gulf War Syndrome" wherein people experienced strange, terrible health symptoms and a lot of men returned impotent.
Regular sweeteners aren't so bad, just to light. Use blackstrap molasses, maple syrup, honey. Really, even plain toxic table Sugar is not as toxic as one little packet of artificial sweetener. Just go sparingly on whatever you use. I've heard really good things about Stevia, you might want to look into that. It is natural, very concentrated sweetener, that shouldn't have the "side effects" of high Sugar carbs.
On a similar note, avoid non-dairy creamers. In general, avoid anything "artificial" or chemically designed to be a replacement. Coffee is really toxic, despite the "health benefits" you sometimes read about. I wouldn't advise drinking it daily. If you really enjoy it, make it a special Saturday treat or a Monday pickmeup only, something like that. Or maybe not even weekly.
Avoid soft drinks like the plague. Those things suck the minerals out of your bones, weaken your teeth, punish your pancreas, acidify your system, etc.

I guess in regards to your other questions, the main thing is how strict do you want to be? It's all up to you. You can float around curezone checking out different forums and links and get an idea of how you want to eat on a regular basis.
I really would advise against eating dairy products en masse, although butter is okay. There's not really a "healthy" cheese but if you use hard cheeses like romano and parmesan, a little bit grated onto a dish can go a long way.
Animal products - again, don't go crazy but if you want to eat them it's up to you. Most Americans, Westerners in general eat 3 to 4 times the amount of protein they need. A serving is about the size of a deck of playing cards.
If you want to browse through your Blood Type Diet , you might take a few suggestions on what to avoid, some fruits and veggies might be making you feel run down even though you don't realize it. For me, eggplant especially was taking its toll.
That's my main suggestion. Whatever you eat, if you continue cleansing, you're better off than most people. Every six months or whatever.
