Re: What is Bentonite? What is montmorillonite?

Bentonite is Ground up volcanic ash found deep in the bowels of the earth. It is insoluble in water but swells to 12 times its size when added to water. The molecules have two broad surfaces that have negative electrical attraction while the edges are positive. Bentonite can absorb or pick up many times it's own weight in positively charges ions. Simply put, Bentonite is a magnetic sponge that removes bacteria, parasites and toxins form the entire intestinal tract. It has very strong absorptive qualities and it can also remove nutrients from the bowel.
