It was millions that died. It is a fact that the Spanish Influenza killed more people than died in the four years of the First World War. I refuse to believe that x millions of people had a comprimised immune system. This huge number does not appear in nature. I would however be prepared to change my mind if you could present valid scientific data proving this.

As for Hep B - in reading these posts, it seems to me that in America people are routinely vaccinated against Hep B. In the UK, it is only 'at risk' groups that are vaccinated (health workers, members of the gay community, binmen etc)- so our experinces and views may be different on this score. My Father received a sharps injury at the hospital he was working at through no fault of his own. Accidents happen and it is best to be prepared. You mention that it has been proved that the vaccine side-effects are more dangerous than the chance of contracting Hep B - can you direct me to these papers please?

North America is not troubled overduely by malaria as your local authorities take mosquito education, control and eradication measures in the affected areas. I believe that some areas of Florida even have lorries spraying at dusk and dawn to kill the b*ggers off that way! Also, the stains of malaria are sensetive to many anti-malarials, which people also have access to - all of this is very unlike Africa and parts of Asia.
