It wasn't millions that died. The individuals that did die already had compromised immune systems. If we were to take better care of our bodies and boost our immune systems than we would not die. We might get ill, but we wouldn't die.
With regards to hep b, there is not problem if the proper safety measures are taken, such as sterile needles and rubber gloves etc. It has actually been proven that the chances of the vaccine side effects are much more prevalent and dangerous than the chances of people actually getting hep b.
When it comes to malaria, I must wonder why North America is not affected by that disease? We still have mosquitoes...hmmm interesting thought.
