The bad malefactor did not think to the salvation of the spirit priority like the good malefactor.
We know God through Gospels, there are four why there are several ways to follow Jesus.
Following Jesus with the Luke's Gospel(minimum) the America can also use the force(like I said before in my post) in order to put Christian laws for our salvation.
