Here is a perfect example of how hard God works in our lives! Just in-case anyone forgets! (I know a lot of you may have read this, but we always need reminders, since it is in our human nature to take things for granted)
God said in Deuteronomy ch 31:5,6
5 The LORD will deliver them to you, and you must do to them all that I have commanded you. 6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
Still though, how many situations have you been in, and said - "Where are you, God?" (It doesn't only happen during a national crisis.

How many of us have heard that question, "Where was GOD when the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were attacked?" Well, I know where my GOD was the morning of September 11, 2001, and He was very busy!
He was trying to discourage anyone from taking these flights. Those four flights together held over 1000 passengers and there were only 266 aboard.
He was on 4 commercial flights giving terrified passengers the ability to stay calm. Not one of the family members who were called by a loved one on one of the hijacked planes said that passengers were screaming in the background.
On one of the flights he was giving strength to passengers to try to overtake the hijackers.
He was busy trying to create obstacles for employees at the World Trade Center. After all, only around 20,000 were at the towers when the first jet hit. Since the buildings held over 50,000 workers, this was a Miracle in itself. How many of the people who were employed at the World Trade Center told the media that they were late for work or they had traffic delays.
He was holding up 2-110 story buildings so that 2/3 of the workers could get out. I was so amazed that the top of the towers didn't topple when the jets impacted. And when they did fall, they fell inward. GOD didn't allow them to topple over, as many more lives would have been lost.
And when the buildings went down, my GOD picked up almost 6,000 of his children and carried them home with him. Reassuring his frighten children that the worst was over and the best was yet to come.
He sat down and cried that 19 of his children could have so much hate in their hearts. That they didn't choose him, but another God that doesn't exist, and now they are lost forever.
He sent his children that are best trained for this disaster and had them save the few that were still alive, but unable to help themselves. And then sent many others to help in anyway they were needed.
He still isn't finished though, he held the love ones that were left behind in his arms. He comforts them daily. His other children are given the strength to reach out to them and help them in anyway they can. And I believe he will continue to help us in what is to come.
He will give the people in charge of this great nation the strength and the wisdom to do the right thing. He would never leave us in our time of need.
So when anyone asks, "Where was your GOD on September 11," you can say "everywhere"! And yes, although this is without a doubt the worst thing I have seen in my life, I see God's miracles in every bit of it. I can't imagine going through such a difficult time and not believing in GOD - life would be hopeless. So shines a good deed in a weary world!

what means?
The bad malefactor did not think to the salvation of the spirit priority like the good malefactor.
We know God through Gospels, there are four why there are several ways to follow Jesus.
Following Jesus with the Luke's Gospel(minimum) the America can also use the force(like I said before in my post) in order to put Christian laws for our salvation.

I have to disagree with you on some things. First, God was everywhere when Sept. 11 happened, as He always is, everywhere. I might be mistaken, but the way you say it sounds like at least God was there to save some. I think that the people who died, as sad as it may have been, was already planned. God planned for those people to die that day. A tragic death? Yes. That's how God works. In ways we don't understand. Was it in His plan to save many from dying that day? Of course, He has decided from the beginning that those who survive will die another day and under other circumstances. FYI One lady who survived (worked in one of the towers) from Dominican Republic, decided to go home and celebrate with her family that nothing had happened to her. And the flight she was on crashed a few minutes after take off!! God wanted her to die that day, not on Sept. 11. And about those 19 evil men?, well, they were/are not God's children. If they had been, they wouldn't have had that much hate, enough to kill many people. They were evil people and we ALL know that God is not evil. And those evil men who died are spending eternity in hell. Even if it sounds so weird and many times unfair, God has planned everyone's lives, everyone's futures. He has planned who will believe and who will not believe. As simple as that. And Sept. 11th doesn't affect me THAT much, because it was all under God's plan. There are things worse than Sept. 11th, like all the thousands of babies being murdered everyday by senseless doctors. Yet, God has allowed this for a purpose. Do we understand it? Of course not, we can't since our minds are soooo limited. But one day we'll know God's purpose in everything and we will understand clearly. For now, I think it's best not to question what God is doing, but to accept His plan, follow it, and know that He is a very powerful God, He is THE powerful God and He will keep surprising us. May be through hurricanes, earthquakes, typhoons, who knows, but God is in control and that's what gives me peace. Knowing that He is the architect of everything. So for those who trust Him and follow Him, we should just Trust Him, really Trust Him and not question Him ever on the things He does. He has a reason and a purpose. Yes Praise Him! Thank you, that God is not a have a dual personality. He does not cause evil things to happen to man. Man does that quite fine all by himself. You see right at the beginning God gave Man his own free will. Which means we as humans have a choice in how we behave and act.
You say, that God planned for people to die that day; but God does not plan people's deaths. For example:

I think you get my point, if it says in God's word that with long life He will satisfy, and that his angels surround me in protection, and that we shall dwell safely in his refuge. It sounds to me like God is planning our life and not our death. The
Bible says that if you choose God, then you choose life.
I believe God is Love - and because He is Love, He can do us no harm, only good. Satan came to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.

This is a reply to # 627,100But I think that you're getting confused. Because when the bible speaks of God not wanting people to perish, He is talking about the spiritual life, not the physical life. I mean, if He didn't want anyone to die, then what about Christ dying. Remember to us there is a beginning and an end. We will die physically but not spiritually. Even in Psalm 23 it says ...thought I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me...". Everyone will die, but those who belong to Christ will not perish (spiritually) because will be enjoying an eternal life in perfectness. God does not want His people to perish (to be lost - spiritually) God will give His people an abundant life on earth (specifically spiritual rather than physical) and He will be with us to protect us so we may enjoy the life He's given us. But there's an end to this life, since it's not perfect and our purpose is not to complete anything here on earth, but to work just as God has commanded, pleasing and honoring Him, yet the best and perfect life will come after this one on earth is finished.
By the way, you say that God didn't create evil. Satan did. But who created Satan? Don't you think that God has allowed evil in this world? For some unknown purpose that we may never understand until we're face to face with Him. Yes, God is love, but remember that God is an angry God. He's angry at sin. "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord"...Wow, what powerful words. Even the vengeance we as humans feel many times shouldn't be, because God will be the one to carry that out also.
About free will, I disagree with you since we might have a "free will" but is still under God's surveillance (to put it that way) control, and everything following His purpose. Shame on the person who thinks he can control God in any way; the person who tries to understand God with a human mind will never reach his goal. Only in heave will we be able to understand the power, grace and magnificence that God is. Everything we have comes from God. He giveth and he taketh. He gives life, He gives salvation, He gives death. All in His time and according to His purpose.
The only way a person can choose God is if God chooses him first!!- <<

He wants them to be in Heaven with Him, have everlasting life. That's what I meant. It's not that the spirit "dies", it's that if it's not in heaven, is as good as dead since it will be in hell. This is a reply to # 627,102No, I don't think I'm confused. The bible doesn't only speak of spiritual ways. Otherwise it would not teach us how to live, behave and eat etc.
There are countless physical experiences where God has saved someone supernaturally from death. Whether the person was healed, or protected from danger! Then there are other cases where God "lets" the person die(physically). Why does physical protection and healing happen to some and not another person. I don't know. But I will find that out one day, when I get to heaven I'm sure.
Yes God created Lucifer. An angel. Lucifer caused his own demise, by getting prideful and wanting to be God. That is what caused satan to become evil. God gave dominion of this world to man. Man let the evil in. It's all told in the book of Genisis.
God is not an angry God. God is loving and merciful. When God is talking about vengeance, He is telling us not to take revenge, because He has the more just way of dealing out vengeance. He does not deal out of anger, like we do. He deals out of Love.

We do have a choice to accept God! Just like we have a choice what we will eat for breakfast. God says to "Seek Him" and "To Come to Him". That was the plan when He sent His son, Jesus to die for us. So we could come and be reconciled to God through Man (Jesus). That our sins would be forgiven when we ask. That means our sins are forgotten, and we are to live as God commands us in the Bible. And when we do mess up, we are to be quick to repent and God is quick to forgive!
Psalm 103:11 & 12
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
So, I'm done arguing this with you. I'm sure we are both quite comfortable thinking we are right! : )

This is a reply to # 627,113Obviously you come from a different point of you...and I can't change that.
Just remember never to try and bring God down to our level to try and understand Him. Because we can't. We must try and get as close as we can to His level until perfection is reached in Heaven.
The only thing I can do for you is pray and hope that God will open your heart and mind to the truths the Bible teaches. The true doctrine. The true word!! I know all the verses you mentioned, but remember the verses where God says "...I loved this person, but hated the other" and so many different areas where it shows that God also has anger over some. Not forgetting He's a God of love, He is the one controlling the world, thus controlling what happens in the world. Be it hurricanes, many deaths, earthquakes, whatever, God is the only one in control of everything and He's doing it for a purpose. Just read the bible, but don't skip the parts that you dont' like, because they're there for a reason. Just pray to God that you may understand them.

This is a reply to # 627,100My Husband and I will diffinately go see it.We don't go to movies went to Omega and Megido and will support this one.I watch a lot of christian tv,TBN and Daystar,and I think it was 700 club that talked about it a few weeks ago and said they were standing behind it did not see it anti-semetic.I'm sure we won't either.After all,you can't change history and you can't change God's word no matter how hard some pp try.The book of revelation is being fullfilled before our very eyes.And remember,there will be a deluscion that pp will believe a lie.The new agers.And thinking they can evolve and reach that themselves.Loved your post,Elaine.

This is a reply to # 627,099You are so wrong about many things.God never PLANNED for any of those pp to die.He has not PLANNED whom will accept Jesus and be saved.He just knows the future.Angles were created with a free will.God will not force anyone to love him.YOU CAN NOT make anyone love you.But God is kind and loving and the only way a person would choose not to would have to be because he preferrs to live on his {or hers} own terms. God would not be a just God unless the christians who serve and love him were seperated in heaven from the others.Satan is still the ruler of this earth.Only as a believer do you have power over him through the shed blood of Jesus.The Lord our God is one God.The other pp are DEAD!Jesus is ALIVE!It is appointed once to man to die and after that the judgement.God does not say we are born with the date.God had the prophet tell he king he was going to die and he repented and the prophet came right back and told him God just added 15 more yrs to his life.Can't remember off hand where to find it ,in a hurry,but u got it.

John 10 Read the whole chapter, but I'll write a few verses.
10:11 I am the good shepherd, the good sheperd lays down his life for the sheep.

I suggest you study the bible. Not only ask somebody or your pastor a question and believe whatever they say, they're not perfect. The only way and place you can get the absolute truth from is from the bible. Read Romans, Ephesians, John, and you will understand, and hopefully believe, the purpose of Christ's death, and the reason why God sent him to earth. I mentioned the verse in Revelation because, and you will later (hopefully) understand, God had written the names of those who will be saved in the book of life, and those people are the ones Christ died for (his sheep) and those are the only ones who will enter heaven. Matthew says in chapter 7 that "narrow is the road that leads to life, and only a few find it". When you study the bible, you find that the doctrine that was taught by Christ and later his disciples was, although similar to what is preached nowadays, it was really meant for the chosen ones, which in the end will be the only ones who will be with God. God planned everything before he created anything. To say that God doesn't have a saying in most of our decisions and what we do with our life, is saying that God doesn't have control over those things. And if God doesn't have control over those things, then he wouldn't be God. He wouldn't be the sovereign almighty God that people claim He is. Of course, we, as humans, don't know who will be saved, so it's our responsibility to share the gospel with everyone, but the final saying is Christ's, not humans. Man, as a sinner, doesn't have the ability to save himself. Nor does Christ have the need to OBEY him and give salvation when the person wants it. The decision has been made by God and He is the one who will bring conviction to a person's heart, therefore the person acknowledging salvation and repenting.
John 15:16...you did not choose me, but I chose you...
After reading this you'll probably think it's all nonsense, but don't believe me, read the bible, it's all there. Accept that there is someone more powerful than you are.
