TMJ SYMPTOMS

Hi everyone

I have just recently discovered after research on these forums and visiting a new dentist that I am most probably suffering from TMJ. I have all the classic symptoms but the one I am most concerned about is the severe burning, tingling, neuralgic type headache. I was hoping to hear from other sufferers if this type of headache is consistent with this disorder. I have jaw pain, toothache, ringing ear, ear crackling when I swallow and sometimes numbness at side of mouth and eye. I have had mild forms of these symptoms intermittently for a long time steadily becoming worse. I have been told by this new dentist that I should have been referred to a TMJ specialist years ago. I also know that I have wear an tear in my neck. After reading your posts I will certainly be looking for a chiroprator who can hopefully help. I am hoping to hear back from you regarding the headache as it is constant.
