From my understanding the fasting is or no fat diet until 2:00 is so your gallbladder doesn't expel any bile..so there is a built up of bile until you drink the OIl potion. And than swoosh the bile is released in force and stones are expelled. So I don't know the more bile built up the better the flush..I am no expert. But it makes sense..
