Re: Gerson is demanding but worked for me
Hi Donald ~
Just this week out of the blue I've had a diagnosis of lung cancer. I know a bit about the Gerson Therapy and am going to give it a go(used to have Dr Gerson's big book, then gave it away thinking I'd never need it - ha!).
I live in Australia and we don't have a Gerson Clinic here either, so it looks like my treatment will have to be under my own steam. My 20-yr-old daughter lives with me, which is a huge help; and I'm not yet debilitated by the condition, so figure we've got the energy to start.
It's really intensive, isn't it! I'd love to know how your first few weeks went doing it on your own, which would be the equivalent to the 3-4 weeks in a Gerson Clinic. Did you feel more energetic after that, and up to carrying most of the load of the following therapy preparation and administration yourself? Or do you truly need daily helpers throughout the process (even up to a couple years later)? Did you need to alter the treatment because of doing it at home?
What did you find the most help in guiding your treatment plan?
Many thanks:)
