I am trying to figure out how to answer on this message board. I did
the gerson diet at home with the help of several people locally who
where also doing the diet. The gerson clinic has a list of people,
like myself now, over 200 worldwide, that act as support people .It is
very helpful to find someone near you to talk in person to and maybe
meet in person. If you are interested in finding someone near you ,you
can e mail the clinic for info.I also have the support group list.
We just one day started to meet every few weeks at my house and over
time had a dozen or so people each time supporting each other in our
recovery. Its been a year now since I have done this , some people
recovered and a few did not. It would be my guess that the recovery
rate was better than the people who do chemo.
The gerson diet is complex and the best way to learn it is probably
their video. If you can afford to go to the clinic, about $5,000 a
week, you get a doctor to ask questions and follow your progress.By
the way the clinic has had over 8,000 people do the diet over the
years. Many, like myself did not go to the clinic to go on the
diet, but they list me as one of their patients anyway. You can find
out about gerson at www.gerson.org.
I will tell you about two others that treat with diet.
www.hacres.com is a christian group that has free newsletters and
many people claiming recovery from cancer. Dr. Dean Ornish has a
clinical trial for prostate cancer using diet and other natural
methods.
