And NO vegetable shortening either!!!

Hi!

Gosh, seems I'm just full of bad news for you! No cocoa, no coffee, no shortening....

Your "really wanting" the pie this weekend is a big red flag that you're candida is controlling your body right now! Resist, resist, resist.....it's us or them! I think if you'll follow the diet more strictly and load up on the cultured veggies and coconut kefir your cravings will abate, mine did. Also look at foods that expand and contract. If you want sugar, that's an expansive food, so the remedy is to give the body a healthy, BED allowed healthy food that's expansive, like coconut oil, salads, cultured veggies, etc.

Have you been drinking the apple cider vinegar in water Donna recommends? I've just started this week, was really dreading it, but found it quite tolerable with a few drops of stevia. That might help get your body balanced and stop the cravings.

I'm not being followed by a doctor and I'd be very surprised if your doctor turns out to be a resource for colonics. Your best bet is to get an alternative newspaper and look for colon therapists in your area, or do a google search for colonics plus your town. Also possibly they might be listed in the yellow pages under Colon Therapists.

I do have some good news! You can talk to Donna for an hour! She's available for telephone sessions, see her website for number to call to set up appt. I plan to have a session with her myself one day.

Eating healthy is a lifetime commitment, but I see the first phase of this BED as time limited. Once the candida are under control and the leaky gut is healed, milk kefir, fruits and other foods can be slowly added back to the diet. Just have to be strong for the first 2 or 3 months and stay strictly on the diet. Really, that amount of time will fly by. Maybe we can have a kefir - fruit smoothie for the holidays upcoming!!

Well, this post sort of turned into a pep talk, didn't it?

I went to a restraunt near here that serves BED food and had the Potato Corn Chowder. YUM!

Be well,
Leaf
