I have been cooking like crazy with this new life style!!! Maybe it is because I am making my own CV and that is always an evening task. I am eating a lot of veggies as well, but not enough CV....maybe I am not making them right, but they arn't terrible... not enjoyable either. I am using a lot of raw apple cider vinegar with my salad dressing with garlic, lemon, flax oil, and curry power( even ginger somtimes)..mmmmm cook a BED grain (Quinoa works the best here) and cut up fresh raw veggies like red pepper, cucumbers, and corn...etc.. and then mix the veggies, gains, and dressing together!
Also I made cocoa vegan cake:
Quinoa flour
Baking soda
Organic olive oil
Organic cocoa power
1-cup coffee or water (I am gong to try peppermint tea next time)
Nutmeg
Cinnamon
Vanilla ext
I think I'll eat this instead of the pumkin pie for this weeeknds Thanksgiving! I have to make sure I have some type of replacement
And a really good hot cocoa drink:
Two spoons of cocoa power
Tablespoon of Vanilla ext
A touch of sativa power
=mmmmm
Cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
OH and I made a great butternut squash soup the other day and I eat veggie soup for brekfast every morning..sometimes with a grain, but always an alcline meal b/c of the acid build up in the morning.
Those cocoa foods sound like they are aloud right? I can't find anything in the book about cocoa power.
Nut betters.... the book says to stay away from them, but they are soo good and I can't see why not esp. if you make your own soaked almond butter.
As for meats I am eating alot of fish and turkey( blood type food)
I am having a hard time with my liver.... it is paining all the time..since I started the diet. It hasn't done that sice I had mono. and all my sympots have not gone away really at all and I have been on this diet for a month( with two cheats)I feel worse then better, but maybe that is a good thing. I don't have a Dr. monitoring me like it sounds you do. Maybe I should look in to that. YES, I agree about finding an active support form, adn I will check out the recipe board THANKS!
