You gave me some good ideas. As for the lacto fermented stuff, I've never even tried sauerkraut! I do love pickles and mustartd though, so the sour taste may apeal. I think I will stick to the basics for awhile. I just re-read the food mixing and it is finally sinking in (maybe that's 'cause 2 kids are asleep!) Anyway, I am going to try the cauliflower/carrot/tarragon soup for dinner. Have you tried any other recipes in the book besides the kasha loaf (that one was one I wanted to try). I was wondering about the crouquettes and crackers. Any recipes you've had great success with as far as the grains go, I would love to hear. I haven't used any of those except the buckwheat for pancakes and cereal! Hope your veggies come out great! Lauri
