Hi! Is anyone able to simplify the 80/20? I have 3 little ones under 6 and my hubby has been out of town the past 2 weeks. I got the BED book a couple of days ago and have been absorbing as much as I can, but it is sooooo overwhelming!!! I have already cut out carbs so the red potatoes & corn seem like a real treat. I have read food combining 2 times and need to read it at least 2 more to really absorb it. In the snacks section the author lists popcorn and pumpkin seeds. You would still need to apply the 80/20 right? Is it safe to assume that as long as I'm doing the proper food combining, I can get away with 80% veggies/20%protein. I really need to simplify as much as I can. I already have one child with a nut allergy, one with a dairy allergy & me to menu plan for. Thanks for any help. Also, I don't know why, but I'm afraid to try the kefir & fermented veggies, they sound so gross to me. If I take Primal Defense (I just finished Fungal Defense) will that be sufficient as a replacement for what I'd get from the Kefir & fermented veggies? I am also taking Reishi (Myco Medicinals)- more probiotic organisms. Has anyone heard of that?
