When the pot leaches metal into the water, the LED light will come on indicating cadmium, nickel leaching which is harmful to us. Teflon will light up the meter.

The hotel water lit up the meter which coincided with the syncrometer testing. Her pure drinking water did not light up the meter.

This was a simple way to help us determine what pots,pan containers, glasswares, etc. that we should be using to store and prepare our food and water.
