Every time you surf the web you leave traces of your Internet activity that can reveal your real-life identity. Any web resource you access can gather and record usage information about you such as your IP address, location, time of day, browser type, browser language, software configuration, operating system you are using, web pages last visited and other information that you might want to keep confidential.
