Agree with you too. However I'm not sure that a testimonial forum is the answer. If I'm hearing correctly, I think what is bothering people the most about klyd's postings are the fact that they are repeated cut and pastes. This also infuriated many about VToool's post in the past, and was the catalyst for the birth of 'religious debate' forums. Neither of these posts were ever objectionable to me personally, even when I may agree with the subject matter or not.
In the case of klyd's posts, I disagree that they are out of place in the religious debate forum. Consider the subject at hand; people of other religions converting to christianity. If I was, say Islamic, I would want to find sources that would prove the superficiality, falsety, whatever, of that notion. Thus, a debate. In fact, Mother0f4 has done that sucessfully on a few occasions.( I have a great deal of respect for this fine poster whose 'religious' views are in opposition to mine>>> SO....?!??)
I think Curezone ought to kindly "suggest" to klyd to limit his posts to the christian support or debate forum, and leave it at that.
That being said, I don't have anything against a testimonial forum being created, except that it will only be done in order to copletely discourage the views of some in favor of the views of others. The difference and beauty of a 'religious' vs. 'christian' debate forum, is that the christian is exclusive in it's subject matter, as are Islam, Judaism and Liver flush, while 'religious' is not limited by tittle and definition to any particular belief system, but rather a place to challenge those systems by comparison. The trouble arises when any particular system wants to rule out the existence of another. I don't want to support that exclusivism for anybody!
I will say just one more thing and trust me on this one, if people really want a planet were the different or 'annoying' views of others are not allowed to be expressed at all, they'll have one soon enough!!!!!!!!
