Hi! I get migraines too but have never spoken to a doc about them. (i'm rather stubborn) I discovered that the essential oil Lavender helps tons! I woke up with a migraine this morning and had my husband hand me my lavender. I rubbed it on my temples and forhead (that's where I get the migraines) and in 3 minutes I was able to get up. In 20 minutes the pain had eased enough for me to do my morning excercises. I carry the lavender with me! Most of my migraines are usually tension related, but the pounding and the pain with light the same! It would be something to consider. Also look into taking something like 5-htp, that could help as well, but of course look into it first! Take care and don't give up hope, there's something out there that WILL help you!! God bless.
