Yes you can do both

I heard voices from the after-life, (ie my mother for one) and I had my own angel that I talked to. But when I learned Usui Reiki, the whole world opened up on both sides. It was like for me the flood gates had opened up. At first I did mediumship readings, then I went into clairvoyant readings. Mediumship is readings from passed loved ones and spirits, clairvoyance is the ability to see past, present or future. But when I do healings on people and animals, I have a reiki guide (I met him the day before my first class) and I work with the Arch Angels as well. I am also clairaudient to where I hear my guides and angels very well. But it helps me to be able to heal others because sometimes I am told of things that the patient hadn't told me, or if it is a past life situation that needs to be healed, or even where to put my hands and so many other things. It is quite interesting. :D
So yes, it is very possible to do both, in fact one helps out the other and vice versa. :)
