I too allow a little treat here and there along the lines of a choclate fix. But with my trouble in staying in moderation...I have to be more careful than you do. Mylevel is closer to 40 carbs so there is some wiggle room. A good treat to me is a piece of toast (I use Natural Ovens Low Carb whoile grain bread) with a little cream cheese and one mashed up strawberry....or a low carb macaroon or two. A handful of nuts is everyday fare, once a day. Natural peanut butter is awesome on a 1/2 cup serving of low carb ice cream. (I use the natural as regular peanut butter, while low in carbs is loaded with trans fats! Ug!)
I started at 350 plus
pounds and now am down at the 285 range after about 1 1/2 years. I was actually as low as 265 pounds.(I slipped over Christmas this year and added 25 lbs back for the month or so I was nearly back to my old habits. I am a binge snacker so I fight the moderation all the time)Now back being faithful, the
pounds are beginning to go away again, I have a goal of 240
pounds for my nearly 6 foot frame. (Big burly middle aged guy, 52
inch chest and very broad shoulders)
