While in it's basest form you are 100 pecent correct, I have a question or two.
Splenda is a toxin, can you explain? Even Atkins touts the use of splenda over NutriSweet. Agreed it is best to use such things only sparingly, and keep the foods as whole and natural as possible, but a toxin?
And a big thing to watch, especially in the non atkins products is the trans fats and the like. Some pretty funky chemicals in those low carb processed foods! And most of the main stream brands "low carb" items are chock full of preservatives , trans fats and hidden sugars, or Sugar laxitives...I mean Sugar alchohol....
I too see more prepared products from the Atkins people...I wonder how far away from Dr Atkins wishes this is?
