A word of advice from a communications expert: don't fortify your arguement in ANYTHING by using "exceptions to the rule" (i.e. "I know a few...blah, blah, blah). We're not all in this world to make the few, out-of-the-ordinary people out there "normalized". Exceptions don't make good law, and unfortunately for us, politicians don't follow my rule and cater to the exceptions of society. Thus, making it worse for everyone EXCEPT the few. See how that works? Most people DO NOT MARRY THEIR FIRST LOVE, no matter if your parents did it, or the neighbors down the street, MOST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD do not marry first go-around. Thus it would behoov you to play the odds and accept this first date as a trial run or, as you put it, a piece of "cheap ass salt". Common Sense 101... Tweet
