Personally, I'd be really flattered! I'm a really really REALLY shy guy so I hardly ever manage to get up to courage to go and talk to women. Theres this whole thing where men should do the asking etc... which I find to be immensely irritating. I'd love it if a girl came up to me and struck up a conversation. Go for it, you have much more to gain than to lose.
