hmmm. i don't know anything about mag. oxide.i hate the Epsom Salts but, with the 3 flushes i used them i passed stones. the other ones i didn't or don't know. they play a big role not just in liquifying the bm, but relaxing the ducts as well, and oh boy did i ever need that on my last flush!
