That's interesting about the bees. We never noticed more bees buzzing around when we had our bee hive, unless you were standing right next to the hive of course.

I used to live in a very wooded area, a few decades ago when there were more critters and birds. In the past 5-10 years there have been a lot more sightings of certain wildlife. I've thought about this quite a bit and it is of my opinion that the recent increase in wildlife sightings isn't because of an increasing population of wildlife, it's because the wooded land where these creatures were living is being developed and the wildlife is being forced out into the open, onto private lawns and into developments - places they at one time avoided but now have no refuge to escape to like woods and brush areas. So the overall population of wildlife is decreasing but we see them more so I think many people don't think there is a problem. My opinion anyway.
