I think the author of the article is clearly refering to the current power elite that is the government and not the American People at large. They are not to blame...they are being manipulated.

I would agree that the "regime" is very bad but would also include the rest of the g8 and their controlled regimes. The governemtns in all these nations are being given their orders from the global elite that is the force beyond the NWO which is beyond race, creed..or colour. Anything else is a divisive tactic (both knowingly and unknowingly).
