I get your point about practicing what you preach. I thought about that as I was responding to this man, actually. Still, there are scores of others who devote their whole lives to crusades and don't get listened to enough. No matter how frustrated you are, It doesn't change this: If you have a message, and you want people to listen, you must convey it clearly, and with respect for your fellow human beings. If Horowitz had expressed his frustrationon in a more forthright manner, I wouldn't have written that letter. But I thought he had 'lost it' to the point that the message itself was lost. Upon rereading my own letter, I can see that it was quite forceful, but I was reacting to something which I found quite offensive. I also hoped to jar Horowitz into a certain realization. I give you credit for standing up to defend someone whose cause you believe in, and would like to take you up on your offer to provide links for further investigation.
